All Four Mountains Open – Time to Shred!

A sunny day at Aspen Highlands

It’s official, season is in full swing as all four of our amazing mountains are open for shredding.  Buttermilk and Aspen Highlands both opened yesterday, offering a wide variety of terrain to choose from.  Aspen Highlands boasts 564 open acres, 4 lifts running, 58 trails, over 50% advanced/expert terrain available (including the Bowl!), and a 31″ base up top (19″ mid mountain.)  Buttermilk is offering 271 acres, 4 lifts, and 24 trails, with almost 100% of all advanced/expert terrain and 57% of beginner/intermediate terrain.  Base is at 16″ but snow is in the forecast so we are well on our way to a great season!

Conditions at Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are thriving as new terrain is opened daily!  At Aspen, the rollers on Ruthie’s are a ton of fun right now, along with top of Copper down to 7.  Be sure to stay skiers right to avoid some rocky areas!  Over in Snowmass, newly opened Alpine Springs and High Alpine are definitely a favorite.   So have fun out there, be careful, and keep your fingers crossed for snow!
