Well good morning snow.

I see you have been up to Gwyn’s High Alpine on Snowmass. I think we should hangout more often. Winter is coming and we, at Incline, feel you should spend it with us, here in Aspen/Snowmass. We have been cleaning our skis and boards and are ready for your arrival. Our new gear is arriving and needs some face time.

Best,

After opening around 1,000,000 cardboard boxes this week, the Incline crew decides to breakaway for amazing albeit cold bike ride. Our indian summer weather is just about done with snow in the forecast this weekend. We all decided that one last great ride is needed. Our hands are beat up from unpacking skis, boots and snowboards. Going back to washing and scrubbing ski boots didn’t seem like a fun alternative. So, we went on a ride!

Winter is coming, eventually.

While waiting, we are starting to get excited for all the new video teasers set to come out soon. Few snowboarding videos compare to the “Thats it, thats all” from Travis Rice. According to Snowboarding Mag, it would appear that another video is coming down the pipeline. Maybe this will help keep you a little bit cooler.

This photo was taken by Felipe Sanchez and it really captures the essence of a winter day. It is hard not to see the beauty in this shot. As someone that is passionate about skiing and snowboarding, these are the best days. It is a truly special feeling to make turns in soft snow. Oh, and if one might need some gear to help with that, stop by Incline!!

A few lucky individuals from the Incline Crew jumped over to Silverton Mountain for a weekend. We took the Rossi Soul 7, Salomon Rocker 2 108, High Society Powchickawowwow, Lib Tech Attach Banana and the Rome Mod Rocker.

Over two days, we made a list of all the adjectives to describe the snow and gear. Here are a few:

Sporty lines, killer, soft, deep, sore, amazing, rock pillows, cliff drops, cheap delicious beer, should have been a helicopter pilot, going back…..

It is great to ski and ride the gear we offer in the shop and be so stoked. For the next pow day, come by Incline to see all the options for wide skis and killer snowboards.

The last week weeks have been just a delight. The Aspen Snowmass area has been crushed with snow. My truck was stuck in my driveway three times and I’m pretty sure I was unable to move my finance’s 4Runner more than a foot. Shoveling aside, the snow has been epic. The one ski that has outperformed others has been the Rossignol Soul 7. This has been the most requested ski in the shop. With more snow coming this week, come in and check it out! The snowpack is setting up for an epic March………

Come by the Aspen or Snowmass shops for powder rental gear. Watch out for these two guys: they are scheduled to work and are not to happy about it!

This picture is from Gwyn’s High Alpine in Snowmass. It was taken mid storm yesterday!! Aspen Mt. has reported 16 inches in the last two days. Great way to start the season!!! We did a handful of rentals yesterday as people were looking for wider skis to match the pow conditions. More snow is slated for the middle of the week. Both Aspen and Snowmass open again next weekend and will stay open until April. Come in for discounts on your rental gear!!!!
