Walking the show and testing the product at Copper is a great time. We are very excited about what is coming down the pipeline from all manufacturers. The Volkl M5 Mantra stood out for our team.

Here a few sneak peaks at next season’s product:

Snow Returns

Monday, January 8th, 2018

A moderate storm brought the Aspen Snowmass area some relief Sunday. A stronger storm comes this week. A pattern change comes in about 10 days.

Things could get really good by the end of the month. After a slow start the snow, we are expecting/hoping for a great improvement to conditions in 2018. This is great news as my pow skis are lonely and some attention. More pictures to follow storms!

Enjoying Soft Turns

Monday, February 13th, 2017

February has proven to be a warm month. With our current snowpack still above 100 percent, we welcome the sunny skies. We needed to do some product testing so we grabbed some shredders and headed down to Silverton Mt. Snow should be the theme for the remaining part of February. We recommend skis with a 90 waist or more once the snow starts falling. Until then, enjoy the sun and don’t forget sun screen!

Powder Day!

Endless Pow Days here in Aspen/Snowmass Colorado. Aspenweather.net just had their annual season snowfall prediction party last night. I hope their prediction is accurate! The ridge planted at 140W for most of the winter means many pow days. Yes. I. Am. Ready. Come by Incline Ski Shop this October to see all the new gear for the upcoming season!

Full Moon hike this week!! We all love the snow during the daytime but it is really special to hike above town and take in the surroundings at night! As we enter the twilight of the season, we all start to get ready for our next adventure. Since winter has returned, I am ready for a few more powder days before it is all said and done!

January of 2015 brought all sun and no snow. We only had 5 inches of snowfall for the month. Crazy, but the skiing was actually really good. It got firm towards the end of the month but it is really hard to beat blue bird days.

Now jump forward to January 2016. 40 inches of snow in three days. I do love weather! The sun is back and the skiing is amazing! More snow this week and possibly next. I hear March is supposed to go off. Yeah, thats cool.
