After amazing sunshine, the snow returns tonight! Aspenweather.net is calling for 17-25 inches by Saturday!!! Powder skis will definitely be needed. Come by the Aspen or Snowmass shops for powder rental gear. Watch out for these two guys: they are scheduled to work and are not to happy about it!

Not only are the games back in full swing on Buttermilk; but ESPN, has also signed another extension keeping the games here for five more years.

Here is a link to the event schedule:

When watching the construction and completion of all the jumps and features at Buttermilk, it never ceases to amaze us.  What’s more is the approachable nature and personalities of the athletes, pretty cool.

If you are in town, head over to Buttermilk and check it out!!!

High Society Freeride Company is our new neighbor in Snowmass! Come by and check out their ski and snowboard gear. For anyone looking to purchase but want to rent it first can come into our shop and check it out. We have worked out a discounted rental rate for interested individuals. Even better, the High Society crew will knock off your day rental from the purchase price! Killer!!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Christmas week was crazy here in Aspen Snowmass! Thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed the holidays with us. We had snow Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. It is so amazing being out in town when it is dumping. The picture above is from New Year’s Eve. We have another nice storm coming in tonight and tomorrow. Reports are for 4-8 when it is all done.

If we get on the high end of this range, I would recommend renting or hiring skis that are 90+ under foot. Check out the Salomon Rocker 2 108 or for women the Salomon Rockette!
